  I've been really bad about looking for my lost soles photos... but I found a pair of sandals that looked like they had been run over by a bus a few times right outside of Treasure Island on the strip in Las Vegas last Friday... I was so busy editing photos while I was in vegas I never got around to updating with some other things that I wanted. Oops. So I have a feeling July will be a bunch of random stuff from April and May. Oh well...

  1002 Sandal-SH, by grizzly_lightning I found this sandal floating with the waves along the shore of Lake Decatur Tuesday afternoon. The water level is down some 29 inches or something, so there's lots of new stuff floating around that I never noticed before. Mmm... Decatur.   0818 Shoes-SH, by grizzly_lightning These shoes were in the pavilion at Fairview Park in Decatur during an "All-City Picnic" Saturday morning. I'm really glad the whole city didn't show up, it would have been hard to get everyone in the pavilion. I did get to meet some really friendly people while I was there. When I first got the job everyone was like "Ooooh, Decatur..." like it was some big, bad scary town.   0528 Sandal-SH, by grizzly_lightning This sandal was sitting next to a garbage can outside the entrance to Target in Champaign Monday afternoon. Maybe there was a great deal on sandals in the weekly ad and someone got really excited and threw away their old shoe? Or maybe not...

  0519 Shoes-SH, by grizzly_lightning I don't understand women sometimes... OK, most of the time. Why spend lots of money on dress shoes when the first thing you are going to do when you get to the reception/ dance/ party is take them off and go dance barefoot? Why don't you just wear your dingy sandals you wear every day and then take those off? Maybe I'm just being too practical... or as women call it, "not understanding"...   0505 Shoes-SH.jpg, by grizzly_lightning These bowling shoes didn't belong to any of the guys in Josh's bachelor party group a couple of weekends ago in Bloomington. We were pretty much the only people in the entire bowling alley, but these shoes just sat on the ledge for the few hours we were there. I'm guessing someone bowled just as bad as I did (if that is even possible) and left in a hurry before his friends made fun of his low score.

  0429 Lake Charleston 046-SH, by grizzly_lightning (Click photo for more info) Well, maybe only lost sole... but it's broken too. Found along a trail beneath the spillway at Lake Charleston Sunday afternoon. I found the other sandal about 15 feet down the trail.
