The polls in Illinois open in a little more six hours. Don’t forget to vote.
If you live in Illinois you’ll have the choice between Charles Baldwin, Bob Barr, John McCain, Cynthia McKinney, Ralph Nader, Barack Obama and John Polachek.
I’ll admit it. Sometimes I get riled up talking about issues… but what makes me really angry is when people get so passionate about one candidate without knowing anything about the issues. Some of my friends and co-workers, who will remain nameless, will get all up-in-arms and start reciting the same vague talking points their candidate uses on the campaign trail… but when asked specifics about their issues or positions on moral or social topics they will be clueless.
If you can honestly tell me why you are voting for candidate A or candidate B I will respect your decision. Don’t tell me it’s because the other guy is too old or that guy is a terrorist or this one has a female VP or that one has a nice tie.
At the end of the day, I don’t care who you vote for just so long as you vote. And when it’s all over lets be friends again.

Just so you know I voted 1st thing this morning. I made my choice based on the fact I felt sorry for him because his grandma just passed away. (just kidding)
