I got to go to the State Fair today and shoot some photos for work. Is this cliché? Yep… but I’ve never shot it before, so it makes it OK.
Today was Decatur Day in the Hometown Pride tent, so I was supposed to shoot some stuff there… I didn’t really get to shoot too many “fair” photos.
We were hot on the trail of Blago… who, surprisingly, was in Springfield and out in public. You can understand why I was trying to get photographic proof of this rare event.
One of our reporters rode with me, and had to get back for another story, or else I would have spent all day there wandering around. I’m hoping to get back over there next week.
I lucked out and found some local people or people with local ties in the couple hours I was there.
