I’m not really a fan of game shows (except Jeopardy), and I’m not really a fan of the current administration in the White House… but tonight I’m writing about President Bush on an episode of “Deal Or No Deal” that aired earlier this week.
I won’t write about all of the horrible things that the President has done… according to the latest poll numbers 69% of you already know what I’m thinking anyway. Besides, anything I say could probably be used to label me as an enemy combatant.
But as much as I love to bash him, I’ll admit I teared up a little when I saw this clip of W filmed for a decorated war veteran competing on the game show Monday night. Sure, I don’t like him as a person… but I still have a great deal of respect for the position.
Yeah, I could bring up the fact that this soldier probably wouldn’t have a purple heart and two bronze stars if it weren’t for this war in Iraq.
And some people might point out the fact that we wouldn’t have a $9.3 trillion deficit (that’s with a ‘T’) if it weren’t for the war in Iraq.
But I won’t get into any of that…
Does anyone know how much this guy won? I mean, before giving almost half of it back to the government in taxes…
