As I was driving to the newsroom from an assignment in Monticello I noticed that some clouds looked sort of colorful… I took off my sunglasses and still saw traces of color. Thinking I was hallucinating, I pulled over on the side of the road and snapped a few frames. The sun must have been hitting these clouds just right to make little mixed up rainbows… that or I had some more of that Bushland Coffee I wrote about a while ago.
Anyone ever see this before?
It’s called a sun dog. Apparently it means a change of weather within three days. Some ladies at one of the stores said they saw it yesterday too. As per usual see it’s wiki page for more info. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_dog
