Mal and I went to her Aunt Lois’ house for a Christmas party Saturday afternoon. We got the ornament that Mal wanted… our “first Christmas” round ball with our names and the dates.
Aunt Lois knows me well… I got a big, tasty bottle of Tanqueray.
Her house is amazing… I studied some of the little details that really made the home unique. Big windows… lots of wood… small, ornate tiles that were scattered randomly with the larger stone tiles… beautiful view of the lake…
Mal wants to transplant the house to a town in between Champaign and Decatur so we could live in it.
I thought Jesus made an appearance at the party, but it was Mal’s uncle Dirk. That was a nice surprise for me. Apparently Mal told me that Dirk and Raj were coming, but I must have tuned it out… shocking, I know.
