I got to meet Ron Zook on the sidelines of Memorial Stadium after Tuscola’s loss in the 1A game Friday morning.
I wanted to tell him about how I predicted Illinois would be 9-3 this season during my bachelor party in Memphis… but he’s intimidating.
I don’t mean intimidating in a bad way… he just has this presence about him like he just drank a barrel of coffee and chased it with a few red bulls. I got tired just standing there with him.
