General (0)0924 Socks-SH, by grizzly_lightning I've shot nothing but sports since I've been back from the honeymoon... I kind of like it. I chuckled when I got to my volleyball assignment tonight and found the entire Meridian team, both varsity and JV, wearing matching polka-dot socks. Can anyone explain to me why girls love polka dots so much?

09.22.07Saturday thoughts
General (2)0922 Mal-SH, by grizzly_lightning Mal and I went to the Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur this morning. Mal made fun of me because of a face I made when I got dirt on my hands picking up a pumpkin. Seriously... who wants to get dirty at a pumpkin patch? Not me. It was a pretty decent time. Not as much as fun as going to the DMV to renew my license, which I also did this morning. I aced the written test without studying, but it wasn't too in depth. General (0)MARCHING BAND 92107.jpg, by grizzly_lightning I've been trying to channel Kevin, my friend and wedding photographer extraordinaire, this week while shooting. I don't know how he does it, but he seems to find perfect light wherever he goes. Sometimes I hate him, but it also makes me push myself harder as a photographer. After Friday's homecoming overtime win I'm starting to feel like I'm moving in the right direction. Hopefully I can keep it rolling. Anyways, I updated my Sportsshooter page with some photos from the night.

So this post is about my honeymoon, which was last week -- but I'm just now getting around to posting something about it. I also had a birthday card from Max earlier in the day, but I think Mal may have helped him out with that one. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes, cards, etc... it was a good birthday.

09.21.07I’m getting older…
General (4)Grampy 07-SH, by grizzly_lightning Today's my birthday. At 2:47 p.m. I will be 26. Ugh. Normally I don't care so much about birthdays, but this one feels different.
