It’s not everyday you get to shoot indoor volleyball with a 300 at ISO 200, 250 at around f8.
For those of you that don’t know what that means, haha. For those of you that do, we have access to eight strobe heads on a pocket wizard mounted in the catwalk of the Griswold Center at Millikin. That’s a gym that is a little smaller than Lantz “Arena” at EIU.
My jaw dropped when I did my test exposures before the start of the game.
The sports desk played a few photos pretty well in print. I was happy to get the paper this morning. I’d post a couple from the game here, but I’m still not sure what our corporate policy is with newspaper photos on blogs. Oh well…
