I got some of Grampy’s fishing poles and tackle from his house this weekend and decided to get my fishing license. I’ve been fishing several times, but have never caught anything — until now.
Grampy must have been doing something right.
My first cast in to the water and I caught a little largemouth bass. I think I probably got lucky and threw the lure right into its mouth.
Oh well… a catch is a catch. I caught another largemouth and a couple of bluegill while I was there too… I think fishing is going to be the new summer hobby until the birds come through again in the fall. I know, I know… I’m an old man
At least I haven’t taken up shuffleboard. Yet.
What’s wrong with shuffleboard? You would look hot in some plaid shorts doing a little shuffling.
depending on the type of shuffleboard to which you are referring… i take offense to that.
