We don't have presses anymore (I think they've been gone for around 4-5 years?) but there is still lots of evidence of what used to be there. The old fluorescent lights are dim and green. While I picked the wrong night to be an average person and leave my camera behind, it was still one of the best shows I have ever seen. 04.25.07Not feeling well

I have the immune system of a wildebeest, elephant, wombat, snake, badger (scratching head) something with a great immune system... I could walk through an infirmary and vacation in a leper colony with no effects, but whenever Mal is sick I automatically get it. I didn't even get within a few feet of her this weekend and the sickness hurled itself through the air into my pores. Birds, General (2)0421 Douglas Hart 278-SH, by grizzly_lightning (Click photo for more info) One of my favorite Saturday Night Live sketches is "The Falconer"... it's hilarious, but unfortunately there aren't any good clips of it online. I met real falconers today. I had no idea that people still did this. They trap immature raptors (falcons, hawks, owls, kestrels, etc.), raise them and then hunt with them. That's insane. I'm mystified by it... I might go out with this couple later this year to watch how it works. The couple were part of Earth Day activities at Douglas Hart Nature Center earlier this morning. ...

First I take lit portraits of my hamster, now I'm taking random self-portraits with a pair of ski goggles Matt had laying around the apartment. I really just wanted to play around with some off-camera lighting. I'm really starting to miss taking pictures of people with my camera. I love birdwatching and nature photography, but it's not journalism. Then again, neither is self-portraits with goggles.
