I was bummed about spending Valentine’s Day at work all night, so I decided to photograph the prettiest thing I could find during my dinner break. I thought maybe it would help take my mind off the “holiday”…
This photo is decent, and makes me happy — but I still wish I was hanging out with Mal instead of trudging through the snow drifts looking for pictures.
If you want to know: you’re looking at the setting sun through the top of a chain-link fence covered in ice at Peterson Park in Mattoon.
Six months and 21 days until I get to come home to my awesome wife every day. Not that I’m counting or anything.
