The Band (sort of) / December 23, 2006 // Danville, Ill.
I went home last weekend for Christmas and took some photos for Jordan and Jason’s band, Fessenden.
This was my first time meeting 60% of the band. I think these guys are pretty cool. I’m looking forward to working with them more and getting my hands on their CD.

Anyway, I took a bunch of photos, felt pretty good about it… then they got a new drummer. Now I’m going back to re-shoot…
I was upset about for about 2.5 seconds and then realized that I’m not use to the ability to re-shoot. In the newspaper business we shoot things as they happen and if you didn’t quite get what you were looking for, tough, try to get something different.
I guess this was the test run. Now I get to play with some different lighting, poses and locations… although, the abandoned train car Jordan found was pretty awesome.
Now I’m looking forward to it… I’ll give you a peek at them after the next shoot.
