Eastern in the NFL

Panthers / October 21, 2006 // Charleston, Ill.

I’m watching the Sunday night game between Carolina and Dallas right now.

Tony Romo is the starting quarterback for the Cowboys this week, and the announcers love him.

They just showed a graphic with the three NFL head coaches that are EIU alumni, and then called EIU the new “cradle of coaches”… I’ve heard that reference before, but only with in-state newspapers. Now I’m seeing and hearing it on national television during Sunday night football.

This is crazy.

This would be a heck of a night to play the Tony Romo Drinking Game. I could probably start now and still go through a case of Bud Light.
