I think I’ve said it before, but I want to say it agin. I am thrilled to see the Blue Crew in the stands. I hope that the group continues to expand and become a big part of the atmosphere in O’Brien Stadium.
I hate to keep comparing Blue Crew with Block I at the U of I, but one thing that I think would make the Blue Crew stand out a bit more would be a little heckling. I’m not encouraging anything vulgar or profane, just enough to get under the skin of the other team. Although to make it work better, the Blue crew would have to move or start a new section in the visiting team seats.
I’m just throwing that out there…
I do admit that the blue hair is hilarious — especially the girl with blue beehive that reminds me of Marge Simpson.
