The EIU football home opener was last night. The first half was a little shaky, but things seemed to click during the second half.
I updated my Sportsshooter page with some photos from the game.
Sports information says that the game attendance was 7,517. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think there were quite that many (unless being in a five-block radius from the stadium equals attending the game).
One thing I really enjoyed seeing was a ‘Blue Crew’ section. It’s no ‘Block I’, but it was nice to see. Hopefully the section will build as the season goes on.
