Today Chris, Dave (one of his roommates) and I spent most of the day laying around watching TV and movies. Chris has me hooked on ‘Lost‘ now. We also watched ‘Over The Hedge’ a recent animated movie. It’s one of those movies that I wouldn’t have gone to see in the theatres, but it was really good.
The three of us went back downtown to see some of the monuments lit up at night.
Just like Friday, I was amazed at how big the monuments are. I spent most of the day trying to figure out how to take a picture that was better or different than any of the other million people standing right next to me doing the same thing. I got some stuff that I liked, so I guess that’s all that matters.
I think I have walked more in the past three days than I have in the past 12 months, but I’m having a great time out here, so it’s all worth it.
Tomorrow we’re going on a private tour of the Capitol Building and then just hanging out for a while.
