HAZMAT Boots / June 9, 2006 // Charleston, Ill.
I’ve been uber-swamped the past few days, so here’s a quick run-down of the past few days…
Thursday – Hung out with Mal all day. Went shopping, played with Brody, visited with Juli, ate some good food and had some Starbucks.
Friday – Worked part of a shift with the Charleston firefighters, took a few hundred photos of firefighters, hung out with Mal and probably did more things that I can’t remember.
Rest of the weekend (I’m losing my memory in my old age) – Went to see ‘The Break Up’, played tennis, biked a few times, cleaned my apartment, hung out with Mal some more, played volleyball at the DEN cookout, worked out and lounged around for a while.
Monday through today – Work.
The photo of the boots was one of my random photos from hanging out with the fire department Friday afternoon. I found this whole wall of shelves lined with green rubber boots. I had to take a picture of it…
It makes me sad that if I were a firefighter, I would probably have to order special HAZMAT boots. The biggest size on the shelves was a 13. Oh well… I’m not a firefighter, so it doens’t really matter.
I’ve been really busy at work the past few days trying to get a majority of my redesign project done before I leave for D.C., which would be in:
1 day, 8 hours, 33 minutes
