Cat Pee + New Shoes = Bad News

Toothpick, white shirt, guitar? Must be Chris.

Sometimes I hate going home… it’s not that I hate my parents or their house, but Danville doesn’t feel like home to me anymore. I’ll be honest, I had thought of ways to work this weekend so that I wouldn’t have to go home, but I’m really glad I didn’t.

I got to hang out with a few people that I haven’t seen in years. Chris was in town, so we hung out for most of the night on Saturday. It seemed like we had only been apart for a few weeks, not a few years.

We also hung out with Jordan and his fiancée, Amber, who have a pretty impressive studio in the works.

Mal and I got to hunt for Easter eggs with her cousin Hunter at their Grandma Jerri’s house on Sunday. I’m sure that I’ve done it before, but I don’t have any memories of Easter eggs as a kid. Maybe I’m just getting old and senile.

I played a couple games of Battleship with Mal. Apparently I subconciously put my ships in a pattern, because she slaughtered me everytime. As much as I love her, I hate playing games with her if I’m the one that loses. She also beat me at Yahtzee (twice). If she weren’t my girlfriend I’d probably just punch her in the ovaries.

Dad and Gretchen came out to the boardwalk with me Saturday afternoon. There wasn’t anything too exciting out there, but it was still a good day to be out.

OK, now that I’ve given you the good news, there were a couple of things that I wish didn’t happen while I was at home.

I had a bottle of Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper explode on my white shirt and favorite jeans. That’s really no big deal now, I washed it out pretty fast.

While I was sleeping Saturday night, one of the cats decided that it needed to mark my bag as his territory by peeing on it. If it was just clothes in my bag, I probably wouldn’t be as upset… but my brand new suede Puma’s were on the top of the bag. I don’t know how to get cat urine out of suede, but I hope I can.

Anyone know any good leather cleaners?
