I always told her not to use her teeth…
I’m still a little sore after this photo. I was going to post this the other day, but Brody Matthew decided he wanted to be come out Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning, and I got a little sidetracked with things.
I did a freelance assignment for the Chicago Tribune Tuesday in Shelbyville, Ill. Everything was going fine. The gods of light and no rain were smiling on me, but then I got to meet Precious, the 115 lb. Chocolate Lab that belonged to one of the people I photographed. I like dogs, just not when they tackle me and use my groin as a chew toy.
I’ve heard the term “Kibbles and Bits” before, but I didn’t think that dogs believed it.
Someone at work suggested I take it up with the dog’s owner, but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. The dog didn’t mean to hurt me.
So what if the Haas name stops with me?
Anyways, the rest of the shoot went great, it’s supposed to be in this Sunday’s issue (possibly on the front page).
Nothing else too exciting has happened.
I’m still waiting to hear about the Superbowl… too bad it’s in Detroit this year and not someplace warm.
Even with cheating on my diet Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning, I still lost a pound each day. I was kind of worried, since I had a few Cokes, a couple energy drinks, two long johns from Royal Donut, a Subway sandwich and a bacon-cheeseburger from Dairy Queen. I guess the gods of metabolism are smiling on me too.
I’m probably going to be on the road again this weekend. I will be going home to help Mom and Dad run wire in the bedroom addition, visit Juli and the baby in Urbana and grab dinner/movie with Mal.
